Welcome to TrackMotion ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application TrackMotion (the "App").

TrackMotion is developed and maintained by Moritz Ramge, the developer listed on the Google Play Store.

2. Data Collection

TrackMotion is designed with your privacy in mind. All data you enter into the app, including:

• Workout records and exercise logs
• Personal fitness statistics
• App preferences and settings (such as weight units, language, and default values)

is stored locally on your device by default. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to enable the optional Cloud Sync feature.

3. Cloud Sync (Optional)

TrackMotion offers an optional Cloud Sync feature that allows you to back up your data and sync it across multiple devices. This feature is entirely opt-in and requires you to sign in with a Google account or an email and password.

If you enable Cloud Sync, the following data is stored securely in Google Cloud Firestore:

• Your workout records and exercise logs
• Your fitness statistics
• Your app settings and preferences

This data is associated with your account and is accessible only to you. We do not access, analyse, or share your synced data. You can disable Cloud Sync or delete your cloud data at any time from within the app.

4. Authentication

If you choose to use Cloud Sync, you will need to sign in using one of the following methods:

• Google Sign-In: We receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. This information is used solely to identify your account and is not shared with any third parties.
• Email & Password: Your email address is used solely for authentication purposes. Your password is securely handled by Firebase Authentication and is never visible to us.

5. Data Storage

Local storage: All app data is stored using your device's local storage system by default. We cannot access, view, or retrieve locally stored data.

Cloud storage (if enabled): Your data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore, which is protected by industry-standard security measures. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Each user's data is isolated and accessible only through their authenticated account.

6. Third-Party Services

TrackMotion uses the following third-party services only when you enable Cloud Sync:

• Firebase Authentication (by Google) — for secure sign-in
• Cloud Firestore (by Google) — for storing your synced data
• Google Sign-In (by Google) — as an optional sign-in method

These services are governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We do not use any analytics, advertising, or crash reporting services.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties. Your workout information and personal statistics are accessible only to you, whether stored locally or in the cloud.

8. Data Deletion

You have complete control over your data:

• Local data: Uninstall the app to permanently remove all local data, or use the in-app options to clear workout history or reset settings.
• Cloud data: You can delete your cloud data from within the app's settings. Signing out will stop syncing but will not delete your cloud data. You can also request full account and data deletion by contacting us.

9. Children's Privacy

TrackMotion does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app is designed for general fitness tracking and does not require any personal information to function.
